A trauma and bereavement-informed service for those impacted by serious violence in the Borough of Wandsworth
This new service will provide bereavement counselling for close family members and loved ones of a victim, trauma-informed counselling for victims and witnesses of a violent incident, and group counselling for members of the local community who have been affected.

CTSS Services
Loved ones
Family members and loved ones of those who have become victims of serious violence, often struggle with the impact of complex grief. Following a referral those close to the victim will be offered 4 to 6 sessions of bereavement counselling so that they can begin to process the immediate trauma and loss.
Victims and witnesses
We invite people who have been victims of serious violence or have witnessed serious incidents to 6 sessions of trauma-informed therapy with a trained specialist. These short interventions aim to support the immediate impact of trauma symptoms and offer evidence-based strategies for stabilisation. Sessions take place in-person or online via video call.
Community
Serious violence impacts the whole community. This is why our services are brought back to those places in which incidents have happened. So that, as a community, we can heal together. Please reach out if you would like to register for four local group sessions alongside other members of the community supported by a specialist group facilitator.
